How do I know if my roof has storm or hail damage?
Most hail damage is invisible from the ground — bruised shingles, granule loss in gutter downspouts, dented flashing or vents. We do a free residential inspection (Matt walks the roof himself, full photo documentation, written report) and you keep the report whether you hire us or not.
How long does a residential roof replacement take?
Most West Michigan single-family homes — 1 to 3 days. We tear off the existing roof, inspect the deck for rot, install ice-and-water shield in the valleys and eaves, lay synthetic underlayment, and install the GAF System Plus shingles. Crews are on-site dawn to dusk and clean the site daily.
What's the warranty on a new GAF roof from Platinum?
50 years on the shingles (GAF System Plus, registered the day we finish), and 10 years on our workmanship. The GAF warranty covers manufacturing defects in the materials; ours covers anything the install touched — flashing, fastening, ventilation, ice-and-water placement.
